1. About ARLISS
- “ARLISS” is an acroym for ”A Rocket Launch for International Student Satellites”.
- The atmospheric launch demonstration experiment of a 350 mL can-sized ultra-small ultra-small artificial satellite, known as CanSat.
- UNISEC manages ARLISS in cooperation with AeroPAC, a rocket organization.
- ARLISS is held in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA.
- In 2023, a total of 26 organizations from Japan, the United States, Peru, Mexico and Egypt participated!

Judging Schedule
- Mission Review
- Submission Deadline: Late June
- Purpose: Get advice on how to make the mission more interesting and more realistic.
- First Screening
- Submission Deadline: Early July
- Purpose: To check the validity of upcoming test plans and test methods
- Second Screening
- Submission Deadline: Early August
- Purpose: Final examination regarding various experimental results and safety
